As a Sales Assistant at Edmmond Studios, you will be part of our team in Madrid, attending to our customers' day-to-day needs. Your responsibilities will include customer service and styling advice, product promotion, restocking and merchandising, and driving sales to achieve commercial targets. This is a 25-hour-per-week, in-person position based at our store in the center of Madrid, on Calle Claudio Coello.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements:
- Experience in customer service and strong communication skills to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, cash handling, and customer advisory.
- An interest in fashion and the latest trends to provide recommendations aligned with the brand.
- Proven experience in the retail sector, preferably in fashion, is a plus.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Direct sales and presentation of collections to clients in the showroom; providing personalized service and customer advice.
• Assisting in the acquisition of new clients.
• Analyzing sales performance of various collection products and reporting to the production and design teams.
• Ensuring the proper delivery and service of collections to clients.
• Providing customer service to both national and international clients.
• Supporting the brand’s international expansion, including participation in international trade fairs.
• Assisting international agents representing the brand in various countries.
• Upholding and conveying the brand's image.
• Performing additional tasks associated with the department’s development.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A degree in Business Administration, Law, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong commercial acumen and an interest in developing the brand.
• Passion for the fashion industry.
• A responsible, team-oriented individual capable of working under pressure.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a specific focus on the fashion industry. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail, the ability to analyze financial data, and a strong understanding of industry-specific financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear insights and analysis to senior management.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, presenting key financial metrics to management.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Work closely with external auditors to ensure the company’s financial practices are in accordance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control, with at least 3 years in the fashion or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with fashion industry-specific financial challenges, including inventory management, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

This is an on-site position based in our offices in Madrid.
